The Hall

The hall is suitable for a variety of exercise classes, yoga, ballet, football, rugby, badminton, playgroups and so forth.  It has hosted many christening receptions, wedding receptions, birthday parties and fundraising events to name but a few.  For further information please contact the Hall Manager who will be delighted to meet with you and discuss your event or celebration.

    The hall measures 16m x 9m with a very high ceiling (suitable for bouncy castles).

     

    There are 108 chairs stored in a cupboard in the hall and a further 12 chairs are available by request.

     

    There are a total of 29 tables as follows:

    6    – 75cm x 183 (in the cupboard)

    10  - 69cm x 152cm (in the cupboard)

    7    - 90cm x 90cm (in the cupboard)

    6  - 79cm x 152 (available by request)

     

    There is an alcove of 500cm x 210cm within the hall into which a portable stage can be arranged by request.

     

    There is a pretty outside gated and fenced patio and grassed area leading from one side of the hall.

The Meeting Room

The Meeting Room is used for a variety of classes, namely Kumon Maths and English, Sing Rainbows Music Classes, Italian Lessons and many more. It is also a popular with local businesses who use it as a training room or for off-site meetings. When hosting parties it is a really useful to hire the meeting room as a separate quiet place, or an additional party area.

    This room measures 7m x 5m and there are black out blinds to most of the windows.

     

    It is furnished with a moveable tables that are arranged in an oval shape that seat 20.

     

    Extra chairs are available on request if the hirer would like to set up the room conference style.

     

    Whiteboards and a flip chart and pens are available at no extra charge.

The Kitchen

There is a fully fitted modern kitchen included in the hire of the hall and meeting room at no extra charge.  There is a large modern fridge, a commercial dishwasher, microwave, range, hydroboil and crockery and cutlery is also available.  Do note that both spaces are entitled to use the kitchen at the same time.

Our Car Park

Oxted Community Hall shares its car park of 19 bays with St Mary’s Church. There are also an additional 4 disabled parking bays, and an additional 6 bays allocated to the offices with which we share our building.

Heating

The entire building has under floor heating and is set at 21 degrees centigrade at all times.

 

Wi-fi

Both the Hall and Meeting Room are equipped with wi-fi.

 

Toilets

The hall has toilets for Ladies and Gentlemen, as well as a large toilet which can accommodate a wheelchair user or infants whose nappies need changing.
